The Pentawards

Pentawards, founded in 2007, is a world’s leading and most prestigious competition specifically for packaging design. Pentawards committed to recognizing excellence in design, providing a source of inspiration, and connecting the global packaging community. With over 2,000 entries from more than 70 countries being submitted in the year 2023, the 17th edition of the Pentawards has successfully concluded.

On November 10th, the 2023 Pentawards gala ceremony brought together world-leading designers, brands, and packaging professionals for a night of celebration, as winners of this year’s competition were revealed.

Among all competitors, Goodgifts’ package design for “Leica’s 2023 New Year Red Envelope Gift box” stood out and was received the gold award in the Brand Identity & Connected Packaging category. This award demonstrated the global jury members’ appreciation and recognition over Goodgifts’ remarkable ingenuity, and it motivated us to perform in future international packaging design contests.

The gift box is praised for its ease of use. It contains a magnet closure mechanism to securely close the box, as well as a shoulder strap for travel. Inside the gift box are six new year red envelopes imprinted with the Leica logo and a bronzed illustration, which dedicates to the moment of photographing during the temporarily illuminating effect.

Goodgifts and Leica present this unique gift box to all the photography aficionados, by opening the gift box, taking out the red envelopes, and hitting the moment of flashlight, it is truly one of the greatest gifts for the celebration of Chinese New Year.
